The Frock NYC – Aussies making waves across the globe

Have you heard of the Aussies making waves in New York City? Sisters Chaya Chanin and Simi Polonsky are the creators of The Frock NYC, an iconic label boasting timeless, classic wardrobe pieces that reflect their Aussie flair and orthodox Jewish spirituality.

With thousands of followers worldwide, Chaya and Simi infuse their modest designs with edgy style that makes modest fashion anything but boring. After leaving their home in Sydney Australia, Chaya and Simi stepped out to create original designs aligned with their values, inspired by high end fashion and NYC style.

With multiple ways to wear many of their dresses, your look is limited only by your own creativity.  Take the Silky T Dress, wear it on its own, add their saddle belt for a blousey look or layer to create any look you like – it’s the ultimate wardrobe staple.

The Frock ClassicT dress (pictured below) – lengthen/shorten the sleeves, leave the pockets worn in for a straight fit or pull out the sleeves and tie at your waist for a more fitted look… which begs the question – why aren’t ALL dresses designed with pockets that transform into a belt!?! Very cool idea ladies!

The Frock Fluid dress is, as they describe, has “a lounge-y, laid back and fuss free vibe”, a “joyfully comfortable dress with an interesting silhouette has endless possibilities.” Wear this almost-maxi dress loose and billowy, or shorten the hemline by adding a belt. Designed with comfort in mind, the fabric is breathable so it’s easy to wear in summer and still so perfect for layering in winter.
